This has been the first time I have really anticipated the Golden Globes, not in particular for the fashion or beauty trends, but for the solidarity and strength of all the people who are standing up for gender and racial justice and equality for people all over the world. This has certainly been a very powerful movement by the women in Hollywood which is only gaining more and more strength as the world joins them in this pursuit. But getting back to the best beauty look of the Globes, here are my picks...
1. MARGOT ROBBIE
For me hands down the best look, I thought she was incredible. Her skin was flawless, her natural thick brows were beautiful and the pop of orchid dark pink on her lips was perfection. If you'd like to try a lip colour similar to hers, try the Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour in La Sensuelle 40.
2. JESSICA BIEL
Loved the pop of pink on her lips and accentuated lashes to enhance the shape of her eyes.
3. ALLISON WILLIAMS
Her make up was very soft with gorgeous bronze and orange tones which perfectly brings out her blue eyes.
4. KERRY WASHINGTON
Loving the pop of lilac on her eyes, so lovely on her skin tone, and the just kissed sheer pink on her lips compliments beautifully.
5. NICOLE KIDMAN
This woman always does porcelain skin and a hint of rosy blushed cheeks to perfection!
6. ZOE KRAVITZ
She looked incredibly sophisticated with her red lip and contrasting green earrings which complimented her look in such a clever way. Who needs contouring with cheekbones like hers!
Can't wait to keep following the #Time's Up campaign and it will be interesting to see how this message is conveyed at the Oscars in March.
